Lakeland, Florida (August 6, 2019) The music industry honored Excelcia Music Publishing’s high-quality engraving with a first place Paul Revere Award in the category of “Graphic Excellence: Collated Music Notesetting (i.e. Engraving)” for the recently released concert band piece, Tower of Inspiration, by Robert Thurston. The award ceremony took place at this summer’s annual meeting of the Music Publishers Association in New York.

“In our first year, we are so proud to be recognized by our peers in the music industry for the high-quality of our engraving and entire production team,” states award recipient Tyler Arcari, Instrumental Music Editor at Excelcia Music Publishing.  “Here at Excelcia Music Publishing, it is our priority to publish meticulously-edited and beautiful pieces, and Tower of Inspiration is no exception.”  The award recognizes Production Lead and Notesetting by Arcari and Graphic Design by Harrison Morgan.

Published in our signature color-coded series, Excelcia Music Publishing’s concert band music follows a strict and standardized six-part grading system developed by our editing team: Prelude (grade .5), Da Capo (grade 1), Harmony (grade 1.5), Intermezzo (grade 2 to 2.5), Rhapsody (grade 3 to 3.5) and Maestro (grade 4 and up).  Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2019 concert band music comprises over 60 new and inspiring pieces, including pieces by well-known favorite composers such as Sean O’Loughlin, Carol Brittin Chambers, Carl Strommen, and our own Tyler Arcari and Larry Clark. Award-winning, Tower of Inspiration, is a grade 1.5 concert band piece which has something of interest for every young performer.

Tower of Inspiration and all of Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2019 new works are available now from music retailers everywhere and at excelciamusic.com.
