Music Submissions

Submissions for 2024 Are Now Closed

Thank you for your interest in submitting music for review & possible publication with Excelcia Music Publishing, Wingert-Jones Publications & Kendor Music Publishing.

The Submission portal opens every year from May 01 and closes when the catalog is full.

Submissions are handled through our automated form, however they should include Title, Composer, Email and a PDF of the score and a MP3 (or sound file) from any notation software or live recording. Please do not send notation files in your submission.

Each year, we see well over 1000 submissions, and as a composer-led music publisher we take care to give each and every publication the time and due diligence it deserves. Because of this, correspondence regarding submissions can take up to 4 months.

Response to submissions: All submissions should receive some response during or after the 3-month period – whether it is an email of acceptance or a letter of decline. While we understand that feedback is important for growth, at our current size – it is untenable to provide individualized feedback for compositions that do not fit the catalog.

*** If you do not receive any correspondence by August 15th of each submission cycle – check your spam folder for an email from info@excelciamusic.com or reach out to that email and inquire on the status of your submission ***

Submission Guidelines

Currently, we have submission guidelines for the following ensemble types:

We encourage you to look at our previous catalogs for guidance on the types and levels of compositions we publish, as that will be your greatest guide.
