Lakeland, Florida (March 19, 2024) Excelcia Music Publishing is delighted to announce the appointment of Heather Payne to the position of Marketing Manager. As a musician and visual artist with a wealth of experience in school music programs, Heather brings a unique creative vision to the marketing team. Heather joins the existing Marketing and Sales team for Wingert-Jones Publications, Kendor Music Publishing, RBC Publications and Excelcia Music Publishing, which includes Anne Sobel, Senior Marketing Consultant, and Diana Traietta, Director of Sales.

“I’ve always loved exploring the worlds that artists dream up,” says Marketing Manager Heather Payne. “Composers create little worlds meant for thinking, dreaming, and learning through their music. Communicating that to an audience in an engaging way is what I look forward to most in my new role as Marketing Manager.”

Larry Clark, President, writes, “Heather has a clear understanding of what we do at Excelcia Music Publishing, and will forge for us a fresh new perspective for our marketing program that comes from her imaginative approach. We are delighted to welcome her into the fold.”

An artist and musician originally from Alabama, Heather seeks to infuse the world of marketing with imagination and creative whimsy while making friends and connections along the way. As a Flute player, her love of music developed at a young age in and around school music programs, which followed her throughout her college career and beyond. Heather studied in the Music Industry program at Troy University, under the guidance of renowned composer and industry leader Robert W. Smith, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. Formerly the Program Curator of the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame Museum, she is interested in music’s impact on people in education and the world: past, present, and future. Heather has various hobbies and interests, including learning new instruments, visual art, sports cars, and caring for animals.
