After opening with an easy written solo for Piano of “O Christmas Tree”, the winds enter in a new key with an elegant statement of the melody. The tempo gets kicked up into swing for a clever treatment of “Jingle Bells” which flows nicely into “Auld Lang Syne” to wrap things up with a bow.
