Game-Changing, Flexible Trio Series Launched by Excelcia Music Publishing

Posted in

Lakeland, Florida (January 9, 2020)– Adaptable Trios, the newest series from Excelcia Music Publishing, contains 25 newly-composed or arranged trios that can be flexibly used with any combination of wind & percussion instruments (in the Wind/Percussion series) or with any combination of string instruments (in the Strings series).  The unprecedented flexibility of Adaptable Trios will make it an instant favorite for music educators in the modern classroom.

Written at accessible 1.5 through 3 grade levels, Adaptable Trios follows the format of Excelcia Music Publishing’s popular Adaptable Duets series.  As with Adaptable Duets, the Adaptable Trios are composed or arranged by dedicated educators and composers, Tyler Arcari and Matthew R. Putnam, along with percussion specialist, Robert Clayson (in the percussion book).  The String series is edited by Diana Traietta.

Adaptable Trios exponentially expands the options for music educators by providing the flexibility of unique instrument trio groupings.  The inclusion of the percussion books provides near endless combination possibilities. A music director with limited instrumentation can now combine any wind instruments in the Wind series (or any string instruments in the Strings series), and with the addition of the percussion book, turn a trio into a small or full ensemble, making a class set a remarkably useful tool.

Books in the Adaptable Trios series for wind and percussion are available for Flute, Oboe, Bb Clarinet/Bass Clarinet, Bb Trumpet/Baritone T.C., Alto Saxophone/Baritone Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Horn in F, Trombone/Euphonium, Tuba and Percussion, and for strings are available for Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass.

Adaptable Trios is available for $14.99 from music retailers everywhere and from excelciamusic.com.
