Lakeland, Florida (April 6, 2021) – As some music educators and students are heading back to the classroom and others continue to study and perform remotely, Excelcia Music Publishing has published 30 new engaging and uplifting string orchestra pieces from many beloved composers as well as talented and wonderful new voices in its 2021 String Orchestra music release.  As it has done in prior years, the publisher’s 2021 release includes live professional recordings of each piece (safely recorded), which can be used as a tool with students in the classroom as well as for remote learning.

“Despite the challenges of this past year, my team and I have continued to adapt and strive to meet the needs of educators and students,” said Excelcia Music Publishing President, Larry Clark.  “We believe that a critical component of what educators need to teach their students are accessible, educationally-sound, relatable and fun music to play and perform – and that is what our 2021 String Orchestra release is all about. The excellence from the group of composers who generated these pieces is unparalleled; it’s an honor to work with them.”

The publisher’s 2021 String Orchestra release includes pieces from composers Tyler Arcari, Larry Clark, David Hinds, Yukiko Nishimura, Sean O’Loughlin, Steven L. Rosenhaus, Ruth Elaine Schram, Alan Lee Silva, George Sweet, Peter Terry, Bruce W. Tippette and Bud Woodruff, and it welcomes new composers to the catalog, Erica Donahoe, Amy Riebs Mills, Caryn Wiegand Neidhold and Liam Ramsey-White.

Each score, and its accompanying parts, are meticulously-edited and beautifully set for ease of reading and include unique features to increase accessibility and help facilitate efficient rehearsals.  Optional bowings have been carefully selected to provide an educationally sound experience right from the first read.  Published in Excelcia Music Publishing’s signature color-coded series, the string orchestra music follows the strict and consistent six-part grading system developed by the powerhouse editorial team of Clark and Arcari: Prelude (grade .5), Da Capo (grade 1), Harmony (grade 1.5), Intermezzo (grade 2 to 2.5), Rhapsody (grade 3 to 3.5) and Maestro (grade 4 and up).  In addition to the professional recordings, the publisher is providing Score Videos and preview scores for each piece on its website.

Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2021 String Orchestra music is available from music retailers everywhere and from the publisher.
