Fall Release of New Concert Band Music from Excelcia Music Publishing

Lakeland, Florida (August 21, 2019) –  Built upon the decades of publishing experience that composer, publisher and educator, Larry Clark, brings to the industry, Excelcia Music Publishing adds 12 new concert band pieces to its well-received 2019 Concert Band offerings, previously released in May of this year.

Excelcia Music Publishing’s Fall 2019 Concert Band release includes pieces from these outstanding composers: R. Alan Carter, Ed Kiefer, Michael J. Miller, Yukiko Nishimura, John M. Pasternak, David Riggs, David Samuel, Peter Sciaino, Thomas Singletary, Jason Taurins, and Robert Thurston.

The newly-released pieces offer educators high-quality cho­ices ranging in difficulty from beginner to advanced.  Published in Excelcia Music Publishing’s signature color-coded series, the concert band music is meticulously edited and follows the strict and standardized six-part grading system: Prelude (grade .5), Da Capo (grade 1), Harmony (grade 1.5), Intermezzo (grade 2 to 2.5), Rhapsody (grade 3 to 3.5) and Maestro (grade 4 and up).  

Each score, and its accompanying parts, are beautifully set for ease of reading and include unique features to facilitate rehearsals, like oversized time signatures in the scores and measure numbers at every measure on each part.  Free preview scores and professional recordings by the Trade Winds Recording Ensemble conducted by Daniel Schmidt — pedagogical examples of good tone and musicianship — are available as a resource to music educators.
