Excelcia Music Publishing Releases Inspiring New Charts for Jazz Ensemble

Excelcia Music Publishing is proud to announce the release of its newest collection of Jazz Ensemble Music for 2025–2026. A full range of grade levels and a variety of styles are featured in the release, providing opportunities for directors to introduce younger students to the Jazz idiom for the first time, or hone the skills of more experienced players. Accompanying the music release are an assortment of free-to-use resources, such as professional recordings, ScoreVideos, and the new addition of digital program notes. Professional recordings of the new music are also streaming on all major platforms and the publisher’s website.
“Our goal is always to present music that is engaging and educationally sound for students, entertaining for audiences, and inspiring for everyone,” says Instrumental and Jazz Editor Blair Bielawski. “We’ve accomplished that and more this year, with a catalog that includes everything from classic big band sounds to the latest in contemporary Jazz. We wanted to make sure there were plenty of opportunities to encourage students at all levels to improvise, so care was taken to ensure that pieces at all grade levels have room for improvisation. It’s rewarding for us and for our composers to be able to play a role in helping young musicians grow.”
Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2025-2026 Jazz Ensemble music release includes new pieces from beloved composers and arrangers Anthony Susi, Carl Strommen, Christopher Artau, David Samuel, Drew Zaremba, Jamie Roth, Kris Berg, Larry Clark, Peter Blair, Peter Sciaino, Steve Parsons, and Steve Wiest, as well as newcomers to the Excelcia Music Publishing Jazz roster, Tyler Arcari, and Yukiko Nishimura
Each score and its accompanying parts are meticulously edited and beautifully set for ease of reading. Scores and parts include unique features to increase accessibility and help facilitate efficient rehearsal. Published in Excelcia Music Publishing’s signature color-coded series, the Jazz Ensemble music follows a strict and consistent grading system: Odyssey (Grade 1), Exploration (Grade 1.5), Horizon (Grade 2 to 2.5), Voyage (Grade 3 to 3.5), and Zenith (Grade 4 and up).
Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2025-2026 Jazz Ensemble music is available from music retailers and the publisher.
