Excelcia Music Publishing’s New Concert Band Music Release Inspires Optimism

Excelcia Music Publishing is thrilled to announce its annual new release of Concert Band music for 2025-2026. Bearing themes of inspiration and optimism, the new release features a variety of works for all levels of skill and musicianship, as well as seasonal, holiday, and contest and festival performance occasions.

Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2025-2026 Concert Band music release includes new pieces from returning composers and arrangers Tyler Arcari, Carol Brittin Chambers, Larry Clark, Laura Estes, Christina Huss, Yukiko Nishimura, Sean O’Loughlin, Matthew R. Putnam, and David Samuel, as well as by newcomer to the publisher’s Concert Band catalog, Jacob Narverud.

Also part of this release are professional recordings and ScoreVideos of each piece, as well as the new addition of accessible digital program notes. These free-to-use resources aid Band Directors while selecting and rehearsing music, and can be used to further immerse students in the works that they are learning to play. Professional recordings of the new music are streaming on all major platforms and the publisher’s website.

Each score and its accompanying parts are meticulously edited and beautifully set for ease of reading. Scores and parts include unique features to increase accessibility and help facilitate efficient rehearsal. Published in Excelcia Music Publishing’s signature color-coded series, the Concert Band music follows a strict and consistent six-part grading system: Prelude (Grade 0.5), Da Capo (Grade 1), Harmony (Grade 1.5), Intermezzo (Grade 2 to 2.5), Rhapsody (Grade 3 to 3.5) and Maestro (Grade 4 and up).
