Lakeland, Florida (August 17, 2021) – Rounding out its Solo Styles for Christmas, 15 Festive Solos in 25+ Different Styles series, Excelcia Music Publishing has expanded its wind offerings to include books for Oboe, Tenor Saxophone, Horn in F and Tuba along with its existing wind and string books in this popular holiday series.  Written for flexible solo use at accessible grades 1.5 – 3, each Solo Styles for Christmas book contains 15 favorite Christmas carols newly arranged in a variety of popular music styles such as Jazz, Latin, Blues and Pop.

Each carol is arranged in three distinct popular musical styles, which go along with free downloadable play-along tracks in every style. The optional purchase of iReal Pro app (available for iPad, Android, MAC and iPhone) expands access to even more styles of each solo, creating virtually limitless possibilities. Musicians can use the iReal Pro app to freely change tempo and style for unique takes on solo lines.

Every solo offers an opportunity to improvise and learn the basics of improvisation, including written improvisation examples that are fun to play. Solo Styles for Christmas can be used for solo public performances or for family and friends during the holidays, and the solo musician can use the play-along tracks to create their own personal Jazz combo.

The newly-released arrangements in multiple styles include Angels We Have Heard on High, Deck the Halls, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear (Richard Storrs Willis), Jolly Old St. Nicholas, Joy to the World (George Frideric Handel), Silent Night (Franz Gruber), We Wish You a Merry Christmas and many more.

Books in the Solo Styles for Christmas series are available for Flute, Oboe, B♭ Clarinet/Bass Clarinet/B♭ Trumpet/Baritone T.C., Alto Saxophone/Baritone Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Horn in F, Trombone/Euphonium/Bassoon, Tuba, Percussion, Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass instruments, and can be purchased in physical hard copy as well as digital E-book version.

Solo Styles for Christmas is available for $12.99 from music retailers everywhere and from the publisher.
