Excelcia Music Publishing’s New String Orchestra Music Release Inspires for 2026-2027

A new catalog of String and Full Orchestra music for 2026-2027 is now available from Excelcia Music Publishing. The collection of new works represents a collection of creative imaginings by composers and arrangers who are passionate about music education, thoughtfully presented to meet the educational and musical needs of students of all levels. The new release offers music appropriate for performance occasions throughout the year, such as back-to-school, seasonal, and holiday concerts, as well as festival and assessment performances.
“This year’s catalog is pure, unbridled joy,” says Tyler Arcari, Director of Music Production and Editing. “There’s something in this music that just hits home. The stories and themes reflect on the world we’re living in and the feelings we all carry with us. These pieces are going to shine on stage and shape musical experiences for students around the world, and we’re so excited to finally be able to share them with you.”
The publisher’s 2026-2027 String Orchestra release includes new pieces from composers and arrangers Tyler Arcari, Carol Brittin Chambers, Larry Clark, Laura Estes, Christina Huss, Katie O’Hara LaBrie, Yukiko Nishimura, Sean O’Loughlin, William Owens, and Jamey Ray.
This release heralds the introduction of Ready Sets for String Orchestra: three additional time and money-saving options available for directors to choose from when purchasing music for their ensembles in the form of the Judges Set, Class Set, and Bundled Set. Digital program notes for all new releases will also be available on the publisher’s website, making it fast and easy for Directors to copy and paste into their own programs. In addition, live professional recordings of each piece and ScoreVideos, which can be used for selection and classroom use, are included in the new release. Professional recordings of the new music will be streamed on all major platforms and the publisher’s website.
Each score, and its accompanying parts, are meticulously edited and beautifully set for ease of reading and include unique features to increase accessibility and help facilitate efficient rehearsals. Optional bowings have been carefully selected, and optional Percussion and Piano parts have been added to certain pieces to provide an additional layer to the orchestra’s sound. Published in Excelcia Music Publishing’s signature color-coded series, the string orchestra music follows the strict and consistent six-part grading system: Prelude (grade .5), Da Capo (grade 1), Harmony (grade 1.5), Intermezzo (grade 2 to 2.5), Rhapsody (grade 3 to 3.5), and Maestro (grade 4 and up).
Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2026-2027 String Orchestra music is available from music retailers and from the publisher. Standard sets range in price from $45 to $75 each.
