Sandy Feldstein Music - String Orchestra Plus Series
Sandy Feldstein Music in association with the Yamaha Corporation of America has teamed up to present a unique series of performance pieces for string orchestra that are enhanced by the use of a solo string quartet playing on electronic or traditional instruments. You can feature your best 2 violins, viola and cello on the included solo parts that add to the excitement of the pieces, but the pieces will work without the solo instruments if desired. The series is divided into three different grade levels from grade 1 to 3. The series contains a wide variety of music from contest style original pieces to Rock, Jazz, Fiddling and Christmas. Playing eclectic styles of music for string orchestra has never been better!
The Yamaha Advantage Solo Series
The Solo Series contains selections in a variety of styles and genres designed to meet all of your performance and teaching needs. There are extensive program notes, form and analysis and performance suggestions to help the student learn the pieces. Accompaniment recordings by Don Muro are available to download that will enhance practice time and make it much more fun. All of the solos in the series are compatible with the MakeMusic Cloud system. The music in this series is written by some of the most respected composer/arrangers in music and music education and will stimulate the musical growth of your students.
