Program Notes
This swinging version of one of my all-time favorite Christmastime classics was a blast to arrange! I love aggressive music, especially during Christmastime – call it a byproduct of my dad jamming to Mannheim Steamroller’s Christmas Album over the loudspeakers when I was a kid. I also have a bit of my mom’s sarcastic flair – so you’ll notice a few nods to the ironic.
