About Steven L. Rosenhaus
Steven L. Rosenhaus is a composer, arranger, conductor, lyricist, educator and clinician, author, and “show doctor” for musicals headed to Broadway or off-Broadway. Dr. Rosenhaus, who teaches composition at New York University, currently has over 175 original works and arrangements in print, and many have been performed by the New York Philharmonic, the Kansas City Symphony, the U.S. Navy Band, the pianist Laura Leon, violinist Florian Mayer, and more. The New York Times declares his music “clever, deftly constructed and likable,” while the Sächsiche Zeitung (Dresden, Germany) calls it “expressive…. It’s song-like melodic sequences and balladic aspects give it a lyrical beauty, within a newer soundworld.”
