Using the timeless poetic text by Sara Teasdale, this setting of I Am Not Yours will give any advanced choir the opportunity to sing with sensitivity, grandeur, and boldness. A continually flowing piano part adds additional character to this engaging work. Overlapping harmonic lines are featured throughout, scattered with moments of homophonic and unison singing, eventually ending with fading utterances of the word “love.”
