Program Notes

I just love the winter season. Christmastime can be a time of joy, celebration, and music that brings people together. “”Yuleslide”” captures this festive spirit with a delightful and playful arrangement designed specifically for beginning orchestras. Because honestly, what brings a group of beginning musicians together faster than the collective joy that comes from a Cello section feature?

I also included the whimsical sound of the Slide Whistle, adding a touch of humor and support for our Cello section friends! I attempted to give as many players as possible the chance to play the Slide Whistle, but feel free to expand this to more players or bring in the office staff to really spruce up the concert night!
