Origins

Description

Origins reflects the composer’s love for soaring melodies, jaunty rhythms and rich harmonies. These are all qualities synonomous with the modern trumpet sound. Origins is a journey and a conversation between the trumpet and piano. Each instrument has their own melodic identity. Throughout the development of the piece, they trade ideas, then join forces at the end for a resounding conclusion.
