When the holidays arrive each year, there is always a change in the colors around us. From the earth tones of Thanksgiving to the vibrant red and green of the holidays, this is always reflected in the music we listen to. And yes, it comes every year, but somehow, it always feels fresh and new.
“Christmas Colors” is a vibrant take on “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”, “I Saw Three Ships”, “Greensleeve”s, amongst other carols. Weaving these melodies together was such a fun and rewarding challenge. My goal was to create an exciting opener or closer for a holiday program. Reinventing well-known holiday carols is always a challenge I like to take on, and this arrangement is sure to make your students and audience smile right through the holiday season.
