Excelcia Music Publishing Releases 2026-27 Concert Band Music Catalog

Excelcia Music Publishing has announced its annual new release of Concert Band music for 2026-2027. The new release features a variety of works for all levels of skill and musicianship, as well as seasonal, holiday, and contest and festival performance occasions. All of the pieces in this year’s catalog are available for purchase now as new time and money-saving Ready Sets options, as well as traditional sets, marking the second full Band catalog release to include Ready Sets.

“Many of the works in this year’s Concert Band catalog are a musical representation of our composers’ lived experiences over the past year,” says Tyler Arcari, Director of Music Production and Editing. “There are a lot of emotive and lyrical pieces that we hope will inspire musicians to give their own important meaning to as they learn and grow.”

Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2026-2027 Concert Band music release includes new pieces from composers and arrangers Tyler Arcari, Peter Blair, Carol Brittin Chambers, Larry Clark, Laura Estes, Christina Huss, Gene Milford, Yukiko Nishimura, Sean O’Loughlin, William Owens, and Matthew R. Putnam.

Also part of this release are professional recordings and ScoreVideos of each piece, as well as digital program notes. These free-to-use resources aid Band Directors while selecting and rehearsing music, and can be used to further immerse students in the works that they are learning to play. Professional recordings of the new music will be streaming on all major platforms and the publisher’s website.

Each score and its accompanying parts are meticulously edited and beautifully set for ease of reading. Scores and parts include unique features to increase accessibility and help facilitate efficient rehearsal. Published in Excelcia Music Publishing’s signature color-coded series, the Concert Band music follows a strict and consistent six-part grading system: Prelude (Grade 0.5), Da Capo (Grade 1), Harmony (Grade 1.5), Intermezzo (Grade 2 to 2.5), Rhapsody (Grade 3 to 3.5) and Maestro (Grade 4 and up).
