Excelcia Music Publishing Releases New Jazz Ensemble Charts for 2026-27

Posted in

Excelcia Music Publishing has announced the release of its newest collection of Jazz Ensemble Music for 2026–27. The release features a full range of grade levels and many Jazz styles, providing opportunities for young students to explore the Jazz idiom for the first time, or showcase and compliment the skills of more experienced players. An assortment of free-to-use resources, such as professional recordings, ScoreVideos, and the new addition of digital program notes, accompany the release. For the first time, Ready Sets options are available for Jazz Ensemble works, offering directors new time and money-saving options. Live, professional recordings of the new music are also streaming on all major platforms and the publisher’s website.

“Every year, our composers and staff set out to fulfill a purpose of providing students and directors with a catalog full of inspiring music that will aid them in their Jazz education journey,” says Instrumental and Jazz Editor Blair Bielawski. “This year, we’ve achieved and exceeded that goal with a catalog that includes classic and contemporary sounds for every level, and improvisation opportunities aplenty. These charts will lay down smoothly, and we hope they will bring joy to anyone who has the opportunity to play or hear them.”

Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2026-27 Jazz Ensemble music release includes new pieces from composers and arrangers Drew Zaremba, Carl Strommen, Alan Lee Silva, Peter Sciaino, David Samuel, Pinkzebra, Steve Parsons, Yukiko Nishimura, Vince Gassi, Larry Clark, Peter Blair, Kris Berg, Christopher Artau, and Tyler Arcari, as well as newcomer to the Excelcia Music Publishing Jazz roster, Christina Huss.

Each score and its accompanying parts are meticulously edited and beautifully set for ease of reading. Scores and parts include unique features to increase accessibility and help facilitate efficient rehearsal. Published in Excelcia Music Publishing’s signature color-coded series, the Jazz Ensemble music follows a strict and consistent grading system: Odyssey (Grade 1), Exploration (Grade 1.5), Horizon (Grade 2 to 2.5), Voyage (Grade 3 to 3.5), and Zenith (Grade 4 and up).

Excelcia Music Publishing’s 2026-27 Jazz Ensemble music is available from music retailers and the publisher.
